Company Overview: Wupperthal Rooibos is regarded as the highest quality rooibos in the world, and the epicentre of the rooibos industry. Yet until recently, the more than 70 independent farmers in the area were severely impoverished and remained vulnerable to the vagaries of the market. Hence the community of Wupperthal remains one of the most impoverished in the Western Cape.
