Also known as Petit Sirah, we are one of only a handful of wine farms in South Africa that grow this grape.
A South African First – we pioneered Dry Rose’ from Durif in 2016 and are the only wine farm in South Africa that have ever produced this wine.
Survival is everything in the Swartland. Springdoring (Cenchrus incertus), the resolute hitchhiker, is quick to attach and slow to let go. But not quite as stubborn and persistent as our hardened Chenin Blanc vines.
Redolent and full bodied with apricot, nectarine and floral aromas, yet with a saline minerality and bright acidity, it’s a wine that continues to captivate us to this day.
