Bright pink with purple hue. Vibrant and juicy with aromas of fresh strawberries and raspberry with a subtle hint of rose water and litchi.
The wine was harvested from Wellington – known as the birthplace of vines in the Western Cape. Fertile soils and plentiful sunlight during the growing season attributed to the region’s success to produce superior quality grapes and wine.
A special blend of Syrah and Viognier.
The light sparkle and dry finish makes this a beautiful summer refresher.
There’s plenty peach and apricot flavours followed by a dry and focused finish on the palate.
This 2021 Rosé is so perfect; it belongs on a pedestal. But then it would be too high.

A summery, medium-bodied rosé as unexpected as it is marvellous.
2017 Newstead Cap Classique Rosé. Raspberry flavours and hints of red berries, it is luminant, elegant, and silky. Which is much like we feel when we drink it.
With a pale salmon hue, this Provençal-style Rosé has an appealing bouquet of apricot, peach, strawberry & an abundance of watermelon.
A refreshing, dried apricot palate with yellow peach, grapefruity acidity on the finish.
This Brut Rosé has a salmon pink colour with an elegant nose. The nose shows a fruity bouquet of strawberries, watermelon, pomegranate and candy floss.
The palate has a fresh acidity that results in a clean dry finish.
Smooth and quenching palate with fine red fruit flavours and a fresh acidity. Lovely for those hot summer days.
An abundance of free limestone is complemented by a heavy clay component ensuring excellent water-retention, adding structure& fullness to this delicate wine.
These soils have high free time content on De Wetshof. This adds complexity and structure
