Company Overview: Select Beverage Company was born out of a dream to bring premium African spirits to the world. Our portfolio includes African Craft Beverages (Gin, Rum, Brandy and Whiskey), Elderflower Gin, Benedict's Gin, Chroma Gin and Sicario Agave. Since inception in 2018, we have won over 80 awards both locally and internationally, including both the Michelangelo International Wine and Spirits Trophy and the Merit Trophy for best gin, as well as, Best Packaging by Packaging of the World and the People's Choice Award for best product by the WineMag Awards. Having seen a gap in the market for award-winning spirits infused with truly African ingredients, we released our first brand by the name of African Craft. The African Craft collection includes Marula, Honeybush, Baobab, Naartjie and Litchi infused gins. As the brand grew, we added a Rum called Hoodoo and we are currently introducing both a Brandy and Whiskey into the market. After traveling extensively to various gin-loving countries in search of different trends and ingredients, we introduced the first Elderflower gin into Africa. We continued with the English inspiration and released the Benedict’s Premium Gin Range which includes a London-Dry gin, a Rose & Raspberry gin and a Blueberry & Elderflower gin. With the growth of Tequila worldwide, we wanted to bring out their version of this beautiful spirit with a touch of African Pizzazz. We released Sicario Karoo Agave, which quickly became a multi-award winning product. We source the Blue Agave from the arid plains of the Karoo, situated in South Africa’s Western Cape Province. The Agave is oven-roasted for three days in the time-honored tradition. It is then pressed and blended with Schoonspruit mineral water, one of the oldest and cleanest water sources in Africa. Not only are our products good, but they do good as well. We have been in partnership with the Rhino Foundation for a number of years now, raising funds for Rhino conservation through the sale of our products. We are the leading seller of craft spirits at Duty Free in South Africa and are inundated with requests on a weekly basis for our products locally and overseas.
