Fresh, sumptuous peach, dried apricot flavours, overlaid with a tropical lushness of melon and pineapple.
Ripe sweetness, yet tangy, with sweet and sour zip flavours like baked apples with clove spice, wood spice and honey on the finish.
Primarily from a vineyard planted in 1974, with no trellis system, hence “goblet” or bush vines. Rich, layered with dried apricot, vanilla and honey.
Will gain additional complexity with cellaring.

The character is expectedly somewhat “wild” a little brambly with hints of nutmeg, cinnamon, dark spices, with vanilla scents and a distinct, concentrated red-fruit focus.
Golden hued and full bodied, with melon and spicy baked apple aromas. Layered, with mineral notes enhanced by honeycomb and caramel flavours from lees contact.
A Bordeaux-inspired blend, offering the best of the 5 noble varieties of Bordeaux in one delicious bottle.
Serve with meat dishes, grills and roast lamb.

This wine shows lovely complexity with mix of tangy grassy notes, fig leaf, peach and nectarine nuances. Brisk acidity with minerality on the palate which is typical of the long
hang time in our cool region.

Grapes from this wine came from the Pederberg region. Soils are well drained and typified as Glenrosa-Scali soil types.
A full bodied, deep red wine with a lingering dark berry aftertaste.
The grapes for this blend came from twelve year old Merlot -and eight year old Cabernet Sauvignon blocks planted in decomposed sandstone, granite soil.
