Red fruits and berries on the nose with hints of wild herbs and savory notes. On the palate, the wine has a medium body with well structured, and well-rounded tannins, finishing off with a touch of earthy and spicy notes.
A complex aromatic wine with a refreshing palate expressing citrus, melon, tropical, grassy and floral notes with a long minerally finish.
The wine will develop beautifully over the next 5 years. It has an intense deep red colour. On the nose aromas of rich black fruits, mulberries & cherries arise.
The palate shows juicy fresh fruits, among them plums, cherries and bramble-berries.
This delicious fortified wine, made from Upland Organic Cabernet Sauvignon was fortified at mid-fermentation with Upland Organic Pure Pot-still Brandy.
It contains no added sulphites, and the wine is unfiltered and un-fined, a vegan wine.
