A blend of Chenin blanc, Chardonnay and Verdelho. All three components were whole bunch pressed and fermented in French oak barrels except for a small portion of Verdelho which was fermented in a porous egg-shaped vessel.
Vanilla and spicy notes of black pepper and cedar are layered atop black cherry and chocolate. The palate shows fresh plum and violets, and finishes with a well-rounded velvety tannin.
